U.S. TOY COMPANY SPONSORS PENNIES FOR PATIENTS AT LOCAL SCHOOLS

During the 2009-2010 school year more than 100,000 students at 60 counties in Missouri, and five counties in Kansas joined together for a three week service-learning program designed to raise awareness and collect spare change to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Studnets collected more than $200,000 to benefit local blood cancer patients and their families, as well as fund valuable life-saving research. A $25,000 increase over the previous year’s total!

This year U.S. TOY Co. and Constructive Playthings joined the effort as the Presenting Sponsor of the Mid-America Chapter Pennies for Patients program. U.S. Toy Company and Constructive Playthings is headquartered in Grandview, MO.
